National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show
Shows
NJSGA members have opportunities to exhibit Santa Gertrudis cattle at the National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show and other junior events throughout the year. From Purebred and STAR 5 females to Bred & Owned cattle, the show ring gives junior exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their cattle, develop their skills and compete alongside Santa Gertrudis juniors from across the country.
Contests
The National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show offers contests designed to challenge junior members beyond the show ring. NJSGS contests allow members to demonstrate their knowledge of the beef industry, strengthen communication and leadership skills, and showcase their creativity through a variety of individual and team competitions.
Sponsors
Sponsors play an important role in making the National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show and NJSGA youth programs possible. Support from Santa Gertrudis breeders, businesses and industry partners helps provide contests, awards, scholarships and opportunities for junior members while investing in the next generation of the Santa Gertrudis breed.
